For Grandpa

My Parent's got this shirt for Evelyn when she was brand new and I never thought she would ever be big enough to fit into it! But sure enough, she is growing so fast and it fits her now! We thought Grandpa would be proud! :)

and i remember feeling that way about so many clothes "she is never going to fit into this!" and now she is growing out of those clothes that she couldn't fit into. So crazy!

Sooo cute! She totally rocks that shirt! Just wait till those clothes that are huge, like for a toddler, are just her size! Time flies, and babies grow fast!!!

She's so sweet, I gotta say good day sunshine! She's just a taste of honey, and I love her eight days a week!

Oh my gosh, I am sure she is teething. IT SUCKS SO FREAKIN BAD! If she's drooling, and slobbery and chomping on her fingers and hands she's teething. And this is what maddie will do while nursing : suck suck "waaa waaa" suck suck "waaa waaa" suck suck etc. IT IS SO FREAKIN ANNOYING. She'll get all squirmy, fussy, cry and sweaty. SO- I've handled it a few different ways: I've had days where I feed her every hour for 5 minutes! or whatever she's willing to do. OR I just wait until she REALLY wants to eat, and sometimes that means eating 5 minutes total, and 3 hours or 3 1/2 hours later eating again for only 5-10 minutes. But I've noticed when I wait until she is crying to eat she'll eat for real instead of the whole crying and sucking bit. And she'll eat a full session rather than her measly 3-7 minutes. I just do what I feel like. ALSO- Hylands teething tablets: you can give her 3 at a time, and just give them to her 10-20 minutes before her next feeding, and then she'll want to eat. (it doesn't always work, but it usually does, and if it doesn't, she'll atleast eat for a few minutes rather than nothing at all) Also- baby orajel. And you can use both together. ALSO- the teething tablets: my sisters friend's baby got into them and ate the WHOLE bottle, called poison control and they said don't worry about it- ha. So- Lizzie told me not to worry about how much I give her- ha. so that's what I've been doing. THey're natural, so that's less of a worry too. the orajel I put on RIGHT before we feed. We've tried freezing the teething rings, but she's not that into them. I've heard of freezing a wet rag, and letting them suck on it, but I haven't tried that. One thing EVERYONE keeps telling me is : "she'll eat when she's hungry". So, I'd worry "oh no she's not getting enough to eat, she's hardly eaten AT ALL" but I just keep telling myself she'll feed when she's hungry. And I've now gone through it enough (cause she's been doing it this whole month) that I'm used to it and dont' worry about it. One time it lasted 5 days, then I got a week break, and now it's back again. I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like, one day mike came home from work and ijust started crying and I'm like "I hate this, I don't understand why heavenly father did this, why do they have to teethe, she'd be a perfect baby if it weren't for teething, I hate this!" and i was so upset. it is so frustrating. I truly feel your pain. But luckily you'll get a breaker. But unfortunately this can last for months before we EVEN SEE A TOOTH! It sucks! But definetly go out and buy baby orajel and hylands teething tablets. I got both of mine at target. I'm sure walmart also has them. i hope this helps, and if you hear anything different share it with me too! seriously teething is the worst. love you!

oh my gosh steph- I feel the same way. I totally will get mad at her and then feel so bad because I know it's not her fault, but I just get so frusterated and annoyed and I just want mike to get home so I can hand her off! I've even thought "celeberties are so lucky becaue they have nannies and can watch their kids whenever they feel like". And then when things get bad it seems the next day is better and then I'm happy again. Seriously- teething SUCKS! and it feels so good to hear that someone else is going through this and that I'm not evil for having these thoughts! Because sometimes i feel like i'm a bad mom because I should be feeling bad for her instead of mad. But it's so hard sometimes. thanks for venting to me because it made me feel better about myself! ha thanks- love you
